1. Download and verify
On Android, follow the two steps for the closed beta on the download page. On Windows, get the current beta from the official download page. iPhone and iPad are coming soon to the App Store. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning while a new publisher builds reputation. Confirm that the filename and SHA-256 checksum match the page before continuing.
2. Open a video
Launch Kymelo and choose Open file, or drag a supported video into the window. For a reusable library, add the folder that contains your films or episodes. Kymelo indexes file information locally; it does not upload the video.
3. Learn the controls
- Click the video once to play or pause.
- Double-click the video to enter or leave fullscreen.
- Use the bottom controls for seeking, volume, audio and subtitles.
- Expand or reduce the left navigation to suit the available space.
4. Resume later
When you stop part-way through, Kymelo saves progress on the device and offers the item in Continue Watching.
Troubleshooting
If a file does not play, record its container, video codec and audio codec if known. Do not send the media itself unless you have permission. See support for the details that make a report useful.
